Meet Alex

Alex Kalai was born and raised in Texas. After graduating from Rice University and earning an MBA and law degree from Columbia University where he was a Kent Scholar, Alex went to work for Amerapex. Amerapex is a major engineering technology and industrial services company that employs hundreds of Americans and has offices on five continents with operations around the world.

Alex recently served as the chairman of the US Department of Commerce’s trade mission to the United Arab Emirates where he led our nation’s effort to create jobs for American companies. Alex was appointed as an advisor to the United Nations reporting directly to the Chairperson of UN Energy.

Alex’s grandfather and two of his uncles wore our nation’s uniform and his other grandfather worked for the U.S. Department of War (formerly the Department of Defense), giving Alex special appreciation for those who put their lives on the line to serve our nation.

Alex is determined to bring commonsense leadership to Washington DC where he’ll work to create more high-paying jobs for Texans, empower parents, protect our daughters, and keep our nation’s promise to our veterans.
